Here’s a little bonus treat for everyone.
This is my favorite pair of boardshorts. The company that make them is Hawaiian Island Creations and they’re known for printing a ruler of sorts on the inside of the fly of their boardshorts. I’m not sure how accurate the ruler is, but every time I put them on, it’s a reminder of how…inadequate I am.
The picture of the woman next to the ruler just adds to the humiliation as it’s a reminder of what I can’t have due to the reading on the ruler. If this is the measure of a man, then I most definitely don’t measure up. The beach and the ocean are my happy places and even there, I can’t escape SPH.
